Together in God’s Word 02/28/11 • Reflections from the One Year Bible / by Stanley A. Parker

Psalms 44:3 (ESV)
[3] for not by their own sword did they win the land,
nor did their own arm save them,
but your right hand and your arm,
and the light of your face,
for you delighted in them.

If my hope is in the skill of my sword, then wisdom would be a passionate pursuit of mastery.

If my hope is in the strength of my arm, then wisdom would be a passionate pursuit of muscle!

If my hope is in the salvation of my God, then wisdom would be a passionate pursuit of Messiah!
